I prayed for an opportunity to be in the industry, and the thought was spoken to me, If you want to do game design, go do game design".        Hopefully the source was holy.

"BOTTO", "The Building of the Tower of Judah" or "Neiamiah's Tower"

The Building of the Tower of Judah is a social deduction game where players work together to build towers while trying to weed out any players who may be secretly trying to sabotage the game. The game is played over 13 days, each with a shuffled calendar that offers extra actions and options for players to take. Players each have two actions per day, which include building and defending. Defending is essentially voting to prevent another player from taking their turn that round, requiring N-1 votes to pass.

The game is played with a stack of cards, with players picking up a stack of 2n cards each day and passing it on. The game has several extra types of actions, such as building over a brick, taking off a brick, swapping a tower brick with something in hand, and inspecting. The game is won by building three great towers and one bad tower, allowing all bad guys to infiltrate the game. The number of bad players is dependent on the number of players in the game, with up to two bad players for six players.

The game is affordable, with 72 brick cards costing $10.4, 18 calendar cards costing $6.75, one big board costing $11.25, and one large box costing $7.19. The game also has the potential to use a spiral notebook instead of the calendar cards, which would cost $7.25 as a base cost plus $0.13 per page. The game is engaging and requires strategic thinking and communication between players to succeed.
